T's About To Spill: Last Day of School

Today was the last day of school (no way, really?). And it was a 1-2-3 day. I think it's kind of cool that we ended and started with a 1-2-3 day (or "white" day). Haha, I remember that first day of school when my sister walked into my biology class. I turned to her during the attendance and tried to signal her the digits 3-0-4, the real room number of her first block. It was hilarious. I also had to share a seat with Jannel because there weren't enough. Or so it seemed. And I also remember looking around and saying to myself, Wow. I never thought I'd be in a class with [insert people's names here]!.

Anyway, back to the present. Ms. Bunoan popped in Yes Man, and I played cards with Davion and Jon and Elisa. Davion commented on how strange it was to hang out with US on the last day of school, or something like that. I couldn't say it better.

And back then, my second period was health. I remember Mr. Fernandez's weird way of talking and how cold his class was. But today, 2 changes of schedules later, I had Sevilla for second block. She's my geometry teacher. WAS my geometry teacher. We watched Confessions of a Shopaholic, and it was like any other last day of school class. Lights are off, students are scattered, desks are cluttered, and I was next to my friends.

Then lunch happened. I went inside the tray-place and immediately saw that there were no more milk boxes. So I told the cafeteria lady that there was no more milk. She ripped a box of milk cartons open and poured it in the cooler. Then when I was about to get out of that attitude-giving-lunch-lady-place, I noticed that there were three forks left. But then I dropped one, so I had to tell them that they ran out of forks too. More attitude. Ugh, these ladies.

Then Manny chose a nice, white table in the near-center of our side of the cafeteria. Kailee commented (again) on how she wanted us to eat quickly because of the food fight that was to happen at 12:30. Then I told her that Manny, Elisa, and I were going to stay. I don't think she heard. My eye caught an aide eying the table that Jarren and his posse were sitting on. I knew something suspicious was going on. I was just about to sit down when I hear this loud "FOOD FIGHT". That was when the banana cream pie hurled toward us. It landed inches near our table. I could have sworn it was moving in slow motion. And slowly, deliberately, the lights went off. One switch at a time, I suppose. Half of the cafeteria was dark by the time I threw my tray down on another table. I should have kept it like Manny. Approximately one minute after the 15-second food fight, we were quarantined inside the cafeteria. Manny stained Anne's uniform blouse with chocolate milk. Then Anne made a face that was so...peculiar. Especially for Anne. It was like she was worried about her shirt, but like she never had this much fun in a long time. Or maybe it's just her OMGosh-I'm-going-to-get-in-trouble face.

When we finally got out of there, I went with Elisa to Mr. Mariano's classroom. He wasn't there. So we sat on the rail and waited. And talked. And laughed. And sighed. And then got up and walked back to our friends, who were sitting on a gray table under a tree next to Kozo and Kia and their friends. Perfect time and place for pictures ;D Then Mr. Mariano called Jannel and I about something. On our way back to our friends, Jannel told me that she couldn't be my friend anymore. I was like, "Oh, so you can have a boyfriend, but not a best friend, right?" Then she muttered something after that, I think. I went back to taking pictures.

Third block came, and we all sat down for a bit and signed LoCria's yearbook. Patrick had to PRACTICE. So funny. Then I followed Jannel and Manny to the Business Office, then headed to Siñora Hanzek's class. She remembered me. I was totally freaked. I ate and drank and played cards and laughed and almost cried. It happened. The thing half of the people in that class were expecting. Jannel and I couldn't stand still. I wasn't sure I could watch. I turned away, then looked back. Siñora Hanzek's hand was covering the ps. part. Like, holy cow.

Let's just say the whole thing blew over.

One more important thing: I got in trouble before the bell rang. The lecture was about RESPECT. I haven't thought about that word in a long time. I guess I needed a reminder. (Although this way of being reminded was embarassing and stupid.)

Good songs to listen to over the summer:
The Hush Sound: Crawling Towards the Sun
Colbie Caillat: Magic
Third Eye Blind: Jumper
Matt Nathanson: Car Crash
Leona Lewis: Run
Keri Hilson: Promise in the Dark
Jordin Sparks: Battlefield
Jennifer Hudson: If This Isn't Love
Landon Pigg: Can't Let Go
OneRepublic: All We Are
Beyonce: Flaws and All
Will. I. Am: It's a New Day
McFly: The Heart Never Lies
Kira Willey: Colors
Lenka: The Show
We The Kings: Stay Young
Relient K: At Least We Made it This Far
Charlotte Sometimes: How I Could Kill a Man
Rembrandts: I'll be There for You

And there are two songs that I absolutely LOVE at the moment, and one of them is the class of 2012's MySpace song, and the other is...not up yet.
They are:
Wyclef Jean and Norah Jones: Any Other Day
Zero 7: Destiny
