T's About To Spill: The Banquet and the Mango Seed in my Kitchen

Yes, there was a banquet today. I wore the dress I was telling you about several posts ago. The Caribbean one? Well, I turned out to look like an Egyptian Princess Leah (from StarWars, I think). Haha. Oh well.

The food was good. The music too. They played Knock You Down once, and my friends and I made a music video. Outrageous.

Anything interesting? Well...my überbest friend got asked out. Yep. And she said yes.

How do I feel about it? Well, how ARE best friends supposed to feel? Happy? Yes. Jealous? No. But that's how I feel. The funny thing is that I'm not jealous of HER. Haha, yeah. I'm jealous of Josh. (No, not in that way!) On the bus, I kept asking her "silly" questions. I wanted it to sound a bit silly, but I was very sincere. Of course she, being the best friend ever, told me that we'd still talk. Hopefully(:

I guess I need to be like that mango seed on my kitchen window that is already sprouting. I need to 'grow' no matter where I am, or how difficult and unfamiliar the conditions are.

Another funny thing: This is exactly what I wanted to happen. I PRAYED for it to happen. Then why am I not fully happy?
